Greetings all and welcome to the first Newsletter for 2024.  I hope you all had a great break, and that you’re all looking forward to a fabulous 2024.

The first Friday Snappers for the year will be held on Friday 2 February, 5 to 7pm at Lions Park, Burrum Heads near the boat ramp for boating, sunset and dusk shots.   Theme TBA.   Thanks Michele for coordinating.

No doubt you will have seen my email re the cancellation of the Expo, I’m very disappointed, but I don’t think the time is right at the moment.  Maybe one day we can resurrect it.

If you haven’t completed the club survey as yet, could you please do so before the closing date, which is Monday 5 January.  The Committee is very interested in getting EVERYONE’S opinions and thoughts about club activities.  Here’s the link again – please only use the link if you haven’t already completed the survey : Link:   HBPC Members January 2024 Survey

And don’t forget, if you haven’t registered on the new web page yet, our old one will be mothballed very soon, so you’ll miss out on all correspondence etc, and you won’t be able to enter competitions.

On Saturday 24 February, Doug Holloway will present a workshop for “newbies” or those who want to get a refresher on how to use their camera.  All welcome- bring your laptops-more info to follow.
